Professional Accomplishments

SaaS Founder: From the ground up, and self funded, I built a SaaS solution for corporate professionals. I own and manage the entire product and business lifecycle - market opportunity analysis and business vision, customer/user discovery, product requirements and development, technology management (freelancer development resources and AWS infrastructure), marketing strategy/content, business development and sales, customer service, financial planning/budgeting and much more. I have several (paid) users and while the product is still private, it will be publicly released shortly. I have also been accepted into Launch NY, a nonprofit venture development organization in Upstate NY.

Market intelligence entrepreneur: I created a consulting practice and research service under the name “Premium Intel'', in which I primarily offered an annual subscription service but also performed “ad-hoc” report/research development. Other service offerings include: market/competitive intelligence function consulting, one-on-one consultations on market trends and insurer activity, primary research support and other related market intelligence services. Responsible for business development, operations, new products/services and partnerships. Conduct mass and targeted marketing. Actively wrote blogs to provide readers with insights on the P&C insurance industry, as well as promote brand. Notable accomplishments: Based on analysis and consultation 1) Client created two product roles to capture these new markets 2) Contributed to several Client’s small business insurance expansion strategies 3) Created customized research/analysis market intelligence subscriptions for multiple Clients.

Cyber Security entrepreneur: Through my own resources and efforts, I was inspired to create an initiative called Find Me Cyber (www.findmecyber.com). In addition to creating this website, I have co-hosted events locally, established a social media presence (Check out my YouTube videos), spoken at workshops and conferences, among other things. I am currently considering other ideas and solutions to help advance the cause of security and privacy awareness. This has been mostly a part-time effort and I am self-taught, creating this out of my personal passion.

Insurance Relationship Management: While working at a premier P&C insurance data analytics company, successfully managed several large and complicated relationships, and helped improve overall customer satisfaction and engagement. This was evidenced by both the internal stakeholders as well as by the customer. Improved transparency with customers, gained deeper insights into product/solution value to the customers and opportunities for improvement. I was able to establish new relationships with the customers, many of which were senior level. In one instance, I proactively led an effort to work with a customer to create a new, innovative distribution channel and partnership. Worked extensively with the customer/partner and internal colleagues to devise an agreeable approach and framework. Obtained buy-in from leadership across sales and product.

Insurance Customer Engagement/Success: Using a consultative approach, facilitated numerous customer “deep dive” meetings – eliciting customer insights into the value of our product/services as well as gained valuable feedback on how to improve products and delivery. Customer engagement meetings yielded new sales opportunities and enhanced peer to peer relationships with customers. As an example of going above and beyond, after receiving feedback from several customers on an issue with our product delivery, outside the normal duties of my job, I co-led an internal effort that created a beta solution to enhance the delivery of a key product to our customers. Obtained approval from internal stakeholders and leadership across many different areas and worked with customers to gain additional feedback to create this new solution. .

Insurance Claims Consulting & Project Management: While working at a large P&C insurance company, successfully managed a project to analyze an in-house insurance claims processing solution. Performed vendor marketplace scans to assess potential vendor solutions. Charged with managing the project team, leading analysis and presenting recommendations to leadership which were accepted. Total investment spend was over $3 million.
